Ancient champions of oneness: An investigation of the doctrine of God in church history

Rate this book
From the back cover: Here is the new edition of Ancient Champions of Oneness, with the author's additional research added since the first edition came out in 1986. It is startling to note the astounding difference between the apostolic church of AD 33 and the historical Catholic church three centuries later. How do we explain the drastic changes in doctrine, methods, and structure of the church? Who are the real heretics and who are the real orthodox? This book attempts to document what happened.

This work is an incredible introduction to the historical proof of Modalistic Monarchian teaching being the original orthodox teaching of the church. It is not simply a re-hashed argument against trinitarianism, but it shows the historical roots and puts the reader in the shoes of the preachers, teachers, and theologians of the time. Absolutely an indispensable work in our day!

A short book that ought to be considered a remarkable introduction to Church History from the perspective of the Apostolic Church and it’s true doctrines. Truly, the Lord has always had a people of His Name, His Spirit, and Sound Doctrine in every age.
