I like the compactness of the book itself and the content within. It is well-written, easy-to-read. I'm starting to have a better understanding of those programmers I've worked with. As a designer I also appreciate the layout and design of the book. Personally I'm not a huge ebook fan, so I like being able to get a paper copy about this subject, that I am only diving into.

Well written, not excessive repetition, but focused on the important aspects.

The book is really useful for two approaches:
1. New or young programmers to understand the holistic view of the overall approach of programming and what surrounds it
2. For non-programmers yo better understand the world of programming and what it entails

Great and eye-opening read.

This is a book about programming like no other I have read so far. I could do without the quotes, but I liked the meditative tone of the book and that it discusses general concepts without being too suggestive of a "one right way". I would recommend it to new programmers as it covers all the basic topics and ideas. I was surprised only of the use of the word 'defect'.

A short, as in concise, journey through the world of programming. Not much fluff here, but there's not much space for it in what seems to be about 50 pages of real content.

If you are about to embark on a career in programming you could do worse than pick this up and get an inside eye on what it means for you in the long term. It's not just about the practice of programming, but also about what it means to grow, be part of a team, and what you will need to think about when it comes to why and what you make, not just how.

This book describes many aspects of software development in a clear and concise way and it was a nice read for a junior developer as myself. The only thing I missed was a deep dive into concepts, and I look forward to learn about those topics from Edaqa in more depths in future books!
