As heard on Coast to Coast AM...Sasquatch Chronicles... Beyond Reality Radio...Where Did the Road Go?... Passion for the Paranormal...Late Night in the Midlands...Lost River Legends and The Confessionals. This book is the sixth in a series which contains sightings, encounters and evidential findings...as they pertain to Bigfoot in North America. I hope to learn very soon of additional books pending!

I have been writing my brief opinions after reading each of the short books in this most excellent series and as of this one my high opinion on the whole series still stands. The author has done a great job of collecting what appear to be credible reports of legitimate encounters with Bigfoot, Sasquatch, C'iatqo, Boogers, the Hairy Men and many other names they are known by. There is one bit of work remaining aside from continuing to collect these reports and that is a good persuasive argument for the animal's existence and worldwide presence based on the author's knowledge gained from personal discussions with the reporting parties. I'm able to formulate a thoroughly defined belief in them in a linear sort of algorithm style of thinking and do not have any need to see one, to see or measure a corpse or skeletal remains, but then I happen to be a retired major crimes detective. In other words the burden of knowledge I bear from my career has been a great help for understanding the reasons why Bigfoot is real. I believe this is the author who is closest to making a near perfect argument with even the most ignorant of skeptics. The amount of evidence available right now is where we were more than one hundred years ago with respect to the West African mountain gorillas. Native art, carvings, sketches, paintings and eyewitness reports were available for centuries, yet the west refused to believe in the existence of the mountain gorillas or silverbacks until a sample was shot, killed, brought out of the jungle and paraded before the ignorant skeptics and non-believers. That shouldn't be necessary for the Bigfoot, but unfortunately there are many, many people incapable of believing even that which the can see right before them.

Don't skip this very important series and the lessons contained within for the enlightened and capable of the reading and studious members of humankind.

Bigfoot Terror in the woods is a fitting title indeed!

This volume had me holding my breath and hanging on every word several times throughout. These retellings may be changing more than a few of my views on just how malevolent and dangerous these creatures actually are! I know undoubtedly that they have changed my entire view on "outdoorsy" type activities! I'll stick to staying safely indoors and reading about Bigfoot to be sure! I highly recommend you do the same.

The BEST yet!!!!.

This is my favorite collection so far. Some of the Bigfoot encounters are very frightening, and will stay with you for sure when you are hiking or hunting in the woods. The stories were all unusual and most had lots of details that will interest both researchers and enthusiasts alike.

Best Bigfoot Read Yet

The realism of the stories captivated me. The diversity of terror related to the personal experiences signals that these creatures are both supernatural to an extent, evil, and dangerous.

Read all 6 books and enjoy them immensely.

Found the stories interesting and good to read. I like the short story format. These accounts put Bigfoot in a different light. Now I wonder about people walking around in the woods looking for him.

More cryptid stories

Volume 6 continues along the same lines as the first 5 volumes of (mostly) Bigfoot stories. Some better than others but all interesting reading.

High Terror in this Edition

This is book six in the Bigfoot Terror in the Woods series and it is becoming my favorite Bigfoot collection of encounters. This edition has some truly frightening encounters and includes an appearance from the Dogman. These encounters showcase the nastier side of Bigfoot and are a lesson that is mentioned in the book, "they are kidnappers and killers and not to be messed with." This book is filled with OMG moments that will stay with you and deeply affected many who shared their stories. A must read for Bigfoot fans. The audio version is narrated by the author. A professional narrator would’ve been better.
