Tanya A year. That’s how long I lie in a hospital bed unmoving and unaware. Then one day my eyes pop open and my world comes back into view but it’s a world of unknowns. When I wake from my coma I have no idea who I am or what happened to me. I thought the worse thing was the unknown but the truth is the knowing can be just as bad. If not worse. The knowing allowed me to know the danger I’m in. Bryce When my wife left my world was turned upset down. I did the only thing that I was left with and that was fight. That was fight for the woman laying in the hospital bed and after a year we win. She woke up but her memories of her life and everyone was missing. It was up to me to help her and that’s what I did. While helping her a pull developed between us. A pull that has me dreaming about her moaning my name and crawling at the sheets as a make our bodies one. Little did I know while making her mine and helping her that her memories were the real danger.
2.5 stars. I love amnesia themes in romance books. I loved this one, and I appreciate the way the the story slowly unfolded. I think, however, that more character development was needed for Bryce and Tanya and more background relative to their lives--how they met, what were their family lives like, how happy were they in their married life prior to the accident, and so on. These details would have really enhanced this story. While I had a great deal of empathy for their plight, I did not feel that I really knew the personalities of Bryce and Tanya. That's what was really missing from the story.
My chief complaint about this book is the countless editing problems I observed; there were incomplete or run-on sentences, several wrong words, e.g., closest for closet, examed for examined, and incorrect tenses were used. Further, I was perturbed to find at the end that I needed to read book 2 to solve/reveal the ultimate mystery. Thus, I'd say this was a quasi-cliffhanger.
This was my first time reading this author, and I believe T.M. Pigatt has talent. Nonetheless, the author's talent cannot shine through the muck left by too many errors. Character development will always augment a story and take it a notch upward. I do plan to read another of this author's works. I hope for better results next time.
I absolutely like this story line. The details and the way the characters make you feel, as if you are apart of their lives. Tanya was in an accident and can’t remember who she is or to trust. This story made me feel the lost and love. This isn’t a fast paced book. I didn’t like the way it end because it was the ending. her creativity.
Imagine being in a coma for a whole year the wake up with no memory? That is just crazy but a good story. Poor Bryce had to pretend that he was just a very helpful doctor. I am looking forward to maybe Mickey 's story next and finding out Mr big. Loved it.
That was very good!! I love Bryce, the way he loves his wife, and fought for her when she couldn't do it for herself. I don't want to spoil it for the readers, but I cried when Tanya found out what happened, I felt her pain and Bryce's as well. Please Me Pigatt , hurry up with the next one! PS. There are a few typos if you want to look into it.
Good quick short read. I knew they were married. I wish the author would of have us an ending about what happened with her daughter and did they have another baby.
This was great. You know that Bryce and Tanya were meant to be because even when she couldn’t remember him, she was still attracted to him. The only thing that got on my nerves was when all those grown folks couldn’t control on little girl! Also, why would Bryce’s mother bring Bree home after he told her not to! I kind of understand how Tanya’s family felt but I’m glad her mother talked some sense into her.
Pretty good. Its rendering while well-paced was so quick that the storyline was stilted. Somewhat predictable. The relationship between the heroine and hero came as no surprise nor the bad guy. Overall, though, a nice read to pass the time.
Bryce and Tanya had their lives interrupted when one of Bryce's colleagues was selling drugs through the hospital pharmacy and Tanya found out. She went to tell her husband but before she could she and their son was hit by a car. Their son died and Tanya was in a coma for a year. Based on what Tanya remembered, she would have awakened long before that but the same duplicitous colleague of Bryce was giving her injections trying to kill her. After Tanya remembered and confronted the drug selling doctor, he tried to kill Tanya again but she fought back rendering him blind while she beat his tail and would have bashed his skull in but Bryce stopped her not wanting her to have that on her heart. This was a very good suspense filled story and I can't wait till the one behind it all is revealed. Something tells me the Captain in Mikey's precinct is complicit. Bring on the reveal!!!! I truly enjoyed this story.
T.M. Pigatt's Love Remembers (The Clark Brothers Series Book 1) could have been a good story of love remembering. The writing was rough, the author at times was too descriptive in scenes. The dialogue awkward throughout the book. Simply words were miss used. As a visual reader, I really could not visualize each scene as it played out. The way the synopsis read for me was like she was a stranger to him that he latched on to after his wife left or died. Somethings in this story didn't fit nor did they make sense to me as I read how each chapter played out.
It is understandable for an author to spin a story how they see it; however, a bit more research could have gone into how one should treat a retrograde amnesia patient.
A very good story full of suspense. Had to keep remembering she had been in a coma and lost some of her memories because of the trauma and that Bryce was her husband. I’m glad she recovered her memories and got her family back. Looking forward to next story. Would have given this 4 stars but there were many grammar/editing errors. I wish proofreading was better with these online books. Poor grammar and poor editing takes the joy out of the story, and it’s one of my biggest pet peeves.
This was an okay read however this book had a lot of grammatical errors. The first page of the book had me confused since Tanya was beginning to come out of a coma. As the story begin to go one there still was some missing pieces to the puzzle and this author lost me. Now I have to read the next book to see if anything is revealed.
This story makes you want to believe that men are basically good kind, loving, truth and trust worthy. They had an instant connection. Read this book in one setting. Sit back relax and let yourself get draw into the story page by page
