I've had this book on my shelf for years as I bought it for a resource for my children. After watching the Harriet Tubman movie, I picked up the book and read it in less than an hour. This book would be a great resource for students studying the Civil War era--specifically Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. The age range would be upper elementary and middle school, though even high school students and adults will enjoy reading this time period in American history. I learned new facts while reading this book
