Rate this book
What sort of experiences do men find spiritual For some, it s in the roar of a crowd at a football match, for others, in the peace of a church. In this ground-breaking book Roy McCloughry listens to the personal stories of nearly forty men. Some celebrate their lives, being thankful for a loving upbringing and a sense of fulfilment. Others talk of their hurt and confusion, broken relationships with their fathers or the pain of divorce. What is the place of spirituality in such a world In talking about their lives these men said it was difficult to express their emotions, yet their stories are often deeply moving and revealing. This book will challenge men to identify their priorities and what gives meaning to their lives.

I read this book because I thought it was interesting and it really was. It opened my eyes for many things which men normally don't want to talk or are afraid to because of peoples' reactions. Very meaningful book.
