Another good, lightweight book of walks. It's a good companion to the Vale of York short walks Jarrold also do. No walks are repeated between the two books, although some walks in each have the same starting points or cover some sections of the same routes. But if you find somewhere you like, it can be nice to have more than one walk you can do. This covers around York and then East Yorkshire all the way across to the coast. Good maps and instructions, noting points of interest. All the ones I've done so far out of this book have been good. I do personally find that walking is a good way to get to know the area better. Some of the ones out to the coast I've not done yet as they're a bit further to get to.
