It's always hard to say good-bye to the love of your life; Erin knows this best. The love she has for Santonio "Tone" Morris is indescribable... irrevocable. However, how much can a person take before enough is just too much? She feels as though their entire relationship has been based upon lies and his constant deceit. The trust she once had is now broken, but the bond is stronger; thanks to the two baby girls they share. Confused and completely unsure of what she should do, Erin decides the first step to getting her happiness back is putting herself first.Santonio is every woman's sweetest dream and most men's biggest nightmare. At the head of one of the biggest crime families in the U.S., he's completely dedicated to the money, hustle, and grind. However, his obdurate ways have pushed the most important person in his life away. Him not being able to let go of Erin seems to always put her in uncompromising positions. This leaves Santonio conflicted on whether he should continue to pursue a relationship, or give up and give Erin the peace of mind he knows she deserves.Though tears are the norm and fights are nonstop, making up is second nature. The fire in this couples never ending love can't be extinguished.
Tone and Erin are the most toxic couple I’ve read about to date 😩😩 the way this man wants to have his cake and the whole damn bakery too! 😵💫 I don’t think I’ve ever simultaneously rooted for a couple to win and call it quits at the same damn time! These two gotta end up with each other because ain’t nobody else gone tolerate them!
I’m so disappointed in Sasha that I’m not even going to waste my word on her triflin self! I really hope she gets the ass whoopin she deserves in this finale book! 😒
I think I may have outgrown these books. I mean this was the most ghetto nonsense ever. Ok Erin is upset throughout the book bc she kept putting up with craziness from Tone? Ok I get it we’ve all been there but come on now at what point do we as individuals (not as women but individuals) take responsibility for our actions? Her best friend Sasha that she’s known all of her life maybe went about expressing her frustrations in a incorrect manner but she had some valid points. Then Tone goes crazy on Eli when he did the same thing to Erin???? My one star is not me saying that your writing abilities aren’t good. The one star is because clearly you are justifying this behavior. Then a cousin dies at the end? Tone had reckless behavior throughout the book. I may sound crazy but again you can’t make audience sympathize with that. Yea maybe I’m too old for these books. These books maybe need to have a age limit. You kind of hinted in the book when the character Tone referred to Erin’s choice of books were ghetto. Yes that was true. Come on ladies! We have to do better with penmanship. If you have an audience, be responsible with what u put out.
I can count on Niique to give a good story and that's exactly what's she done. Erin has a lot to deal with when it comes Tone. It's only so much a woman can take, but what can she do when he just won't let go. The minds is trying to rid itself of him, but the heart pulls the very existence of him back. When you find your soulmate, your forever tied, right? At what cost, sanity? Erin has a lot to figure out, but Tone is a bout to have a bigger issue. This story is about to get intense wit the way it ended, one thing about the crew you don't mess with family.
This is my first book I’ve read from this author, and it was a great read. This book kept my interest from start to finish. I could feel the emotions through the words of the story. It was definitely a page turner. I love Erin and Tone. I wish Tone would grow up and get himself together for his family. Sasha know she wrong for how she blames Erin who is supposed to be her girl for the things Eli has done to her. She is miserable and needs to recognize her worth and leave Eli so they can co-parent. I have faith in Tone, I know my boy will get it together in Part 2 regarding his family. That ending though!! The author truly has a gift, I am a fan!!
Getting the first look at this circle of friends and family has definitely been an eye opener. Tone and Erin are couple trying to get things right but recognize that they are toxic for one another. Also the dynamics of this family is just a little crazy because there are boundaries that friends don't cross. I was a little disappointed that Erin did not speak to her brother , considering he 's more. There are a lot of things at work in this story not only the beginning of relationships, but a power play in the mob world. This was good writing ,with a lot of action, drama but there are moments when you clutch your pearls and moments when you just sigh.
It wasn’t a bad book, I just couldn’t help but feel I should have read a book prior to this one. This seemed to be a part 2 because there was a lot of talking in circles. Talking about people from other stories and past friends. I’m giving it four stars because I don’t dislike the book, I’m just confused. Another thing what is it exactly that Erin did for a living? There was a lot of talk about her not needing Santino but she never went to a job or place of business.
Self Explanatory! I love Tone and Erin. I know I should’ve read a Heart Full of Lies first, but I’m going back to read it. I love my boo Ava has a Cameo. What is Brandi up too? She got to go. 2.) I need Chance to boss up 3.) Sasha isn’t loyal she got some stuff with her. 4.) Bruce gotta go too. 5.) I love Tone, he loves hard I wish they work it out. He set it off with Hakim he had me shook😂😂😂 Book 2 Me Please.
I'll give this 3 ⭐⭐⭐ and a half. Erin did toooo much for me. How can you have a whole attitude throughout this book for something you kept allowing to happen. I'm so confused. And what's with women having babies and so quick to fight in public because of what somebody said. Smoking, cursing, drinking, more cursing. I'm only going to read part 2 because I have unlimited kindle.
I finally feel like I got some good excitement and drama from this author's writing. For the first time, I could really feel the strong love between Tone and Erin's. I really felt sad that Tone couldn't get it together and properly love Erin. And I also could feel Sasha's hurt and frustration with Eli. But she was wrong for taking it out on Erin. Usually I Havana good feeling with how things are going to turn out, but with these characters I really don't know.
This book held my attention from first word to last word. Santonio refuses to do right. Will he and Erin get their HEA? Maybe, maybe not. We are rooting for them, but realize they do have a toxic relationship. The scenarios remind me a little of the series about True and Chance. Can’t wait to start on the final installment.
Wow!! So much going on! I love Tone and Erin especially since he's an excellent father but he's selfish. I know he loves Erin but he can deal with other females but she can't do her!? That ending... Wow
Erin and Tone are in a love hate relationship. Erin had been hurt so many times, she don't know how to trust Tone again. Tone isn't perfect, but he loves his family and he's willing to fight for them.
The story had so much going on it was hard to stay tuned it. I liked the premise, but dang! A lot of drama and no filter on anyone's thoughts. I can see the potential, so I'll see what part two brings.
Erin and Tone have toxic love that they can't let go of. Bruce is so jealous of Tone, that he would do anything to hurt him, including killing someone close to him. What will become of them?
Omg what the neck just happen??? No not Dee😬😬😬Well I definitely see some slow sign and flower being coming soon ..I need all these jealous and envy folks to move on so some happiness can happen💪💪
Tone is a selfish mf. I’m glad Erin is finally trying to take control.
Sasha is delusional. Erin should be mad at Sasha for expecting her to step into her and Eli’s relationship when Sasha already knew Eli was a dog. Why would Erin be obligated to monitor Eli’s moves? That’s not her job.
Instead of dumping Eli, Sasha stays with him while he cheats and then blames Erin because they’re best friends. Meanwhile, Erin and Eli are siblings. That whole situation makes no sense. Sasha brought that mess on herself dealing with Eli like that.
That whole thing with Eli needed to happen. Sasha knows Tone doesn’t play about Erin, yet she keeps trying to fight her.
Eli should’ve thought twice. He wouldn’t want Erin putting her hands on Sasha, his baby mama. So he should’ve understood why Tone reacted the way he did when Eli pushed Erin and had her and the kids crying. On to book 2
Tone and Erin. Tone minus the community D, Is good for Erin and the Kids. Sasha needs to stop blaming others for her and Eli's troubles and face the 🎶.
The book is very slow. Not much drama is going on, but I like all the sex that Santonio and Erin are having! Maybe the next book will pick up the pace.
I chose this rating because this book was great from befinning to end. This can be read as a stand alone but the rest of the character's each have a book and each one has a different lesson to learn and positive message. I loved Santonio and Erins story sometimes men can be very selfish but the love he has for his daughters is so sweet. I look forwrd to reading more from Ms. Luarks
I like Tone, but he is a damn bully, I'm mad the way he treated Eli, Erin should have stood, up for her brother he made a mistake. Hope they get pass this, my favorite is Eli 🤗
