If you're going to only read one book this year, this is it! Dale shares her knowledge as both a Christian leader and professional life coach to help discover just who God made you to be. With fun tests and resources for her reader, you are able to discover your specific identity as either a connector, doer, improver, or stabilizer mom. She then takes each slice and dives into their personal strengths - or as Dale calls them, superpowers - and asks powerful and thought-provoking questions to highlight just how much of a blessing they are to their families and as a leader. In a society that predominantly focuses on weaknesses and how to improve said failures, I LOVED Dale's Godly vision that we can instead play to our strengths and in turn, live comfortably, confidently, and authentically in who He made us to be. Dale's book also touches on our triggers and lies we may believe that can inhibit us from blessing those around us.

Dale's words, her encouragement, and her love pours out of each page and into the reader. You will certainly look at the world differently and stand a little bit taller when you are finished. How many times do we as moms try to be everything to everyone? It's time to pull back the curtain and recognize that we are made to be a certain type of person. We don't have to be everything because we know the One who is. This book shows how to take our slice of the pie and steward our gifts accordingly.

One of my favorite things was at the end of each mom type's chapter she pens a scripture-based letter from God to each type of daughter. As I read each one, tears of sincere joy and realization fell down my cheeks. I am an avid reader and I have read only a handful of books that made me feel the way that Dale did: truly seen, empowered, and appreciated. Come as you are. This book will make you feel many good things, but above all: valued (and loved) for who you really are.
