藤原伯爵の受難 [Fujiwara Hakushaku no Junan] #1
Count Fujiwara's Suffering
As a cat-that noblest of animals-the Count has high expectations for his human servants. Unfortunately for him, the Fujiwara sisters are about as dysfunctional as it gets! Shizuka is an extreme shut-in whose only contact with the outside world is her livestream. Yumeko, meanwhile, has a rather...extreme love-hate relationship with her big sis. Can Count Fujiwara handle these perplexing creatures, or will his meows fall on deaf ears?

BAD, BAD, BAD. If you want to read about sistercest, animal suffering, and awful people being awful, then maybe give this a try. Not much positive to say here.

A Funny, And ridiculous premise served with a light seasoning of spice and taboo emotions. Good manga that I stumbled upon at the bookstore. Seems to be three volumes in one omnibus, nice art, cool cat hero who is traumatized by his “servants” LOL. Definitely gets the mind of a car down, with a bit of extra exaggeration in a few of the side stories. Slice off life and a thin plot but great dynamics between the characters.

Ridiculously funny manga. Picked this up at a local store and although I wouldn’t say it was worth the 33.5€ spent on it, it has definitely entertained me. Incestuous yuri, ridiculous cat (and characters) scenes that borderline in the questionable area, a laughable plot… to the point it makes you question the author’s mental sanity… but you’re definitely going to be entertained.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!! I LOVED this manga! It had all my favorite things - Cats, yuri, sister love....I wish it was longer, but the story wraps up neatly in 3 volumes. I can't recommend this manga enough.

This was another bad purchase decision. Once or twice, I thought the author was finally headed in the right direction, but each time my hopes were dashed. The art is decent. The story . . . was there a story?

The art work can be a bit gratuitous, but really enjoy the story of a shut-in who has social anxiety and her cat who tried to make everything better!

This slice of life was an original piece narrated by Count Hakushaku, the Fujiwara household pet. Poor Hakushaku watches over the sisters, Yumeko and Shizuka, in their daily antics and struggles and often wonders how life can be so complicated. The setting is comical with one sister being oblivious to the many situations she stumbles into, while the other has a hard time going through the day without blushing, nosebleeds and a sister complex involving certain scenarios. All this with the poor Count trying to help one while not having a slight ideal how to handle the other but knows he still has to step in.
All in all, fun comic but this sibling complex is such an everyday occurrence in Japanese literature that I could have gone without it and still found Count Fujiwara's Suffering amusing and given it a higher note.
Do I recommend it:

Yes, it is a fun piece to read, from the standpoint of a morally upstanding cat!
