Zoe Lincoln is the darling of the eventing world, young, beautiful, sweet, and a fantastic horsewoman. She had been riding professionally in three day events for the past two years, and this year is the year she finally steps up to the big leagues, with help from a mysterious benefactor.
But life isn’t all plain sailing, and Zoe quickly learns the heartache that comes with first love. Not only does she have to work her way around this minefield, but she must deal with betrayal by a family member and the unwanted attentions of a stalker, hell bent on getting her at any cost.
I have always enjoyed making up lengthy scenarios and characters in my head, and in times of stress, found myself hiding away and burrowing into my make believe world (although I lack sufficient imagination to conjure up mythical creatures, as much as I love reading that genre).
When I finally stuck with a story long enough, I decided that I ought to write it down, and found it incredibly cathartic. I was possessed, and my new release, combined with dreadful insomnia saw me finish my first novel, Wildwood Farm, in six weeks.
Outside of writing, I live in Surrey with my two wilful husky crosses, who bear an unhealthy level of disdain for me. I'm horribly opinionated on most things that I only have a passing knowledge on.
