I am disappointed in reading this early biography of General Anderson. It is written by a former Confederate in honor of the said General.
The material that covered the general's life and participation in the war was interesting. The material that exceeded multiple chapters worth were a great distraction for me. The author was apparently a strong partakers of the Lost Cause and it is spread through the entire book. It took away from the subject I wanted greater information on.
As an early book it has no maps or photos.
