Danny and Josh are trying their best to stay away from Petty Potts. They don't want anything to do with her crazy top-secret experiments, and they certainly don't want to get turned into bugs again! But when their mom's garden is ruined the day before the big neighborhood competition, the twins turn into bluebottle houseflies to take matters into their own two hands...or rather, into their six legs. Can they act like flies on the wall and find the culprits before it's too late?
Twins, Josh and Danny have just recuperated from being turned into spiders by their strange neighbor, Petty Potts, and now they conspire with her to find out who sabotaged their mothers garden the day before the judges choose the winning garden. This is a captivating book with lots of great vocabulary. This would be a good read aloud for 2nd or 3rd grade. The story keeps kids imagination going and teaches science concepts in the process. This is the second book in the series and it makes kids want to read more.
