It was okay, some stories were nice, others not that much. And as a non-native speaker/reader, the errors in spelling and sentence building was quite annoying to me.

Good Lord - get an editor and a spell checker!
The stories were good but there are so many errors in these books it makes it difficult to read and the errors detract from a good read. Much too irritating

Nothing creative here.
The writing is painfully simplistic and could deal with a good edit to remove redundancy and some really epic missteps of grammar.
Dialogue is clunky and each character seems to speak with the same singular voice.
There are a few mix ups of present and past tense that were particularly jarring.
The horror was mostly via violent rape or animal dismemberment which came across as amatuerish, uncreative, and, surprisingly enough- bland in a haunted house theme when every possibility is open to a creative writer.
A few adjectives would have been welcome to help establish atmosphere.
Maybe ok for a first attempt... I only read through the first three books before fatiging, but in my opinion these should have been practice experiments and not treated as publishable work.

Some of every kind
I sincerely enjoyed your collection of hauntings. I also admired the different venues where they took place. There were hauntings everywhere. It was so cool. I especially enjoyed the lighthouse and going back in time to how the hauntings happened in the first place. Also how readily people accepted the ghosts and how they got them to cross over. The last story seemed incomplete though. I would have liked to find out what happened to Lisa and her family. If they ever got out from under their curse. Altogether a great set of haunted stories.

Great collection of ghost stories
Cat's ghost have a way of drawing the reader in with her characters. My dream is to visit Ireland,Scotland and England with their great history and the ghost of time past. That's what Cat does with her characters she draws you into their lives and struggles with the supernatural in the English countryside. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a 👍 ghost stories.

Not one of the books in the 16 book box set disappointed and every one was a completely different story to the previous and the next. My only gripe would be that it would have been nice if all stories had been read by a proof reader because there were a lot of words missed out, but it did not defer to the enjoyment of the stories and I have already got another list of books yet to be read by this author.

Bobbies, having an ale, quid, these and so many other words are used far to frequently and in the wrong way. Needs proofreading, reworked here and there. The stories are good but could be way better.

Great book the short stories were very well wrote and kept the pages turning.
Definitely want to read this collection it's good. Thank you. I recommend that anyone who likes ghost or mystery stories this is a must read.

Good ghost stories
You won't be able to put this down. The back story leads into a really good ghost tale. Only couple lagged near the end.

Haunting short stories
I don't usually read short stories but I enjoyed reading these. I recommend this book. Great writing and continue inventing new stories.

I enjoyed all of the stories in the collection. Cat's writing style is easy to read and very engaging. I will definitely recommend to friends and look forward to reading more from Cat!

Very interesting reading. I enjoyed the whole series. They had just the right amount of attention to detail without getting boring.
