This book is nearly 40 years old, so as I read, I constantly wondered, "Is this still the case?" "How did this turn out?" and "Boy, she was right about that!"(Vulnerability of nuclear power plants to forces of nature, such as earthquakes and tsunamis, not to mention human error.)

I realized that I need to learn more about the connections between utility companies, mining companies, water resource controllers, government agencies and other entities who hold the reins of our future. We, the general public, know so little of what is really going on.
