When I first heard "Strange Fruit" Jill Scott sung it, I cried. This book was simply amazing, I couldn't stop my tears, I laugh so much and cried, my soul needed this. Thank you Edwina for giving us one he** of amazing story, no only did you school us with your teaching but told a phenomenal story. THANK YOU, THANK YOU &THANK YOU again. Don't ever stop teaching and tell your stories.....

Amazing very Intriguing
Ms. Fort, has done it again Melech and Earth story is simply amazing. I finished reading this book in one day and No I am not a speed reader it was just that good.
I couldn’t put it down. I could never find a good stopping point.
I wanted to keep reading so I just continue to read well pass my bed time.
God has bless Ms. Fort with the gift of writing and she does it so well I am a fan for life with the four books that I have read by her. I want stop looking the next one Falling for Rome I can’t wait. If you haven’t read Coming For What’s Mine 1 & 2 and Redemption 1 & 2 you are truly missing a treat.

This author is new to me, and I loved everyone of her books. This book made you reach deep in your spirit to recognize something about our history and ourselves. WOW! Unbelievable! O.M.G what a story!!! This deserve more than a 5 star...
So the only thing that keeps popping in up in my head is: "what did I just read? Or better yet, what the f***did I just read?" (Their words not mine)... So let's start...
Melech, was hummm, man...so alpha, that the world alpha was just too weak for him. I absolutely would love to have a Melech Black loving me. He was not only handsome, gentleman, boss, King, he was also the most adorable and sweetheart of all, hence his interaction with Rain. He was a protector, and a warrior and he loved him some Earth.
Earth was so cute, so down to earth and so nice that I just couldn't hate on her to have Melech under her spell because she was the perfect blend for him. She was truly one of a kind and it shows throughout the whole story.
What I love the most was that the story started right off the bat and there was no going around it and waited out to tell the whole story. Right from the start, everyone knew what was up. I loved Bria and crazy Larry the most. Man this Jamaican patois was so refreshing, I just wished there were more to it. Hosea was the best and Abner was a trip... Horse needs his story soon as well as Michael, whom we didn't get to speak to in this story.
The only downfall was that I felt the story being a little bit too much on the fantasy side at times. As well as waiting on a little bit more romance from Melech towards Earth, specially when she came into his world.
But overall, this was truly a work of art, because while you were reading this story, MS. Fort was able to captivate you to the point that if you closed your eyes, you were able to physically be in each of these scenes; well done, very well done!!! This truly deserved more than a 5 stars.

Very pleasant surprise
I was always reluctant to read paranormal stories but I am glad I decided to read this series. After reading Gabe and Yasmin’s story I feel in love and the paranormal aspect was not overwhelming. I was so intrigued I wanted more. Earth’s and Melech’s story was even hotter! I loved the suspense and liked how the author not only gave us a superb love story but also gave us lessons about our history, world history and even mixed in some theology! I literally could not put it down. I think I’m going to re-read some of the chapters again. This story was 🔥🔥🔥so I had to give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you Ms. Fort and please keep them coming 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Good Read...
I was waiting for this book last weekend. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed this book and it kept me caught up all the way till the end. The characters kept me engaged and enthralled in a world like no other. This author has me wrapped up in her books because on the surface everyone seems to go about their everyday lives and then Boom!!! Another world awaits you. Edwina Fort has other books that have captivated me and I hope that they captivate you as well...

I wish that could get more of Earth and Melech❤
When I say that I absolutely love this author's creation on paper...I tell no lie. Oh my goodness Earth and Melech's story was so beautiful. 😭 This book gave me a story all of the feels. I loved the kidnapping scene and how Earth breathed joy, happiness and love back into Melech life. She gave him light in that dark tunnel. His grandfather, Hosea, was hilarious. I wish that we could've received more from the comical little brother Mike. I enjoyed the biblical references, faith, grace and giving yourself totally to God to be used as a vessel. This book is just what the spirit needs. I only hope that the author had given them another book, but I'm ready for book three.

Hiding in corners to finish
I can't get enough . Melech and Earths story is another great tale. So many different aspects to these men...simply because these alpha males love these women and are fiercely protective. They lay claim and nothing comes between them. These stories also have great meanings behind them. This author has a gift. Thank you for sharing with us book addicts!

YES HONEY!
Edwina Fort is definitely one of my top five! This series gives my life. I wish I could just keep reading. I really loved Black, Earth, Rain and their group of friends. The storyline was awesome, I love it when authors mix present day with ancient times. This is certainly a must read. I recommend you start from the beginning although it's not necessary. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Oh yeah I need more
I'm so happy I came across Edwina Fort her stories are everything and do not disappoint....they have you engrossed in them sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to know more . It's amazing how she does her stories they just flow from beginning to end. I ddnt want it to end and Mr. Black is bae he all but consumed Earth before she even knew it.... I can't wait for more to come...

Melody & Earth
Okay.. I've read the whole Edwina Fort catalog and this has to be my favorite! It was funny, sweet, urban, paranormal, spiritual... It gives you a little bit of everything! Like most Edwina books, it was very well rounded.
I won't give anything away but this is definitely a book I would recommend and reread.

Loved it
I loved this book. I wasn't sure if Edwina Fort could top the first Redemption but she did. This was amazing. I loved the Seminoles and the whole environment.

Greatest storyteller
