The 17th PLEA international conference addresses the role of architecture and urban design with respect to environmental issues at the turn of the millennium. The central aim of the conference is to explore the interrelations and integration of architecture, city and environment. Some 200 papers from authors world-wide present architectural and environmental expertise, experiences and examples.
