Instructor's Manual to accompany An Introduction to Poetry Eleventh Edition

Rate this book
The assumption behind the book is that appreciation of poetry cannot be created, but may be increased. Without trying to usurp the right of instuctors to teach poetry in ways after their own hearts, the book offers short discussions of the elements of poetry, wich students may read for themselves, freeing class time for the study of poems.
We have revised this edition with the simple aim of bringing in useful new features and sections without losing the liked materials with topics and chapters as: Casebooks on Major Authors, New Latin American Poetry Casebook, Glossary of Literary Terms, New Poems, Critical Approaches to Literature, New Chapter, "Writing a Reasearch Paper", Statistics on Poetry.
There is no obligation of following the book's plan, chapters may be taken up in any sequence with easy reference and Index pages.
