Title: Marvel Adventures Spider-Man, Volume 10: Identity Crisis Author: Marc Sumerak, Chris Kipiniak Publisher: Marvel Enterprises, Inc., 96 pp, 2008 Audience: Children, ages 9 to 12 Format: Juvenile graphic novel
Description: Join teenage Spider-Man in four original tales as he deals with the pressures of high school, battling the Taskmaster, encounters the Fantastic Four and the mighty Thor.
Personal Review: This graphic novel has all the elements that have made the mythology of Spider-man so successful. There are scenes of comedy infused with superhero action that are successfully interwoven in the typical graphic novel style. I found it to be very confusing because there were four stories in this graphic novel. There were no real breaking points that separated the stories from each. Despite that the graphic novel was fully colored and had bright colors. Spider-man sports his red costume and even characters from Marvel universe make appearances.
