I don’t normally add children’s book to goodreads but will make an exception for this delightful volume of Marge in Charge stories. Quirky, fun storytelling that my Yr 2 (Grade 2 approx) class just loved. I have enjoyed these stories with my students in New Zealand and in Malaysia - the antics of Marge, the world’s best babysitter, have universal appeal. Eagerly awaiting the latest instalment!
Review from a 7 year old: I loved this book, Marge is so much fun and always up to mischief. I get scared incase she gets in to trouble. The stories she tells are so much fun and there’s a lot of adventure.
I read this book to my 5 year old daughter. She was excited to read it every night and I thoroughly enjoyed it myself as well. It is funny, age appropriate and kept me interested even as an adult. Loses a point as there were a couple of negative body comments that I would prefer weren't in it.
Our family loves Marge. We were first introduced to the audiobooks, which we've happily returned to again and again. It's been fun to come back and read this collection together.
