My Friends Tigger & Pooh is about the only Pooh TV series where I haven't been able to make myself watch every episode. But I do like a story about Eeyore's tail going missing, so let's give it a go.
The story opens with Darby -- a poor stand-in for Christopher Robin -- doing a magician's act for Pooh and his friends. She plans to do more tricks the next day, but everyone has to drop everything and become Super Sleuths when it is reported that Eeyore's tail is missing. The road to finding it is a bit silly, but they do manage to slip in some useful lessons about magnets along the way.
Various sources around the internet credit this story to Bonnie Brooke, but the particular edition I have borrowed does not have her name anywhere on it, so I cannot confirm if it the attribution is correct.

While I work through few remaining longer Pooh books we own, I'm missing my daily dose of Pooh, so I'm going to start seeking out some of the Pooh books I don't own – yet – from libraries IRL and online. Ystäväni Tiikeri ja Nalle Puh on taaperon lemppari TV-sarja, joten kirjakin oli pakko lainata, vaikka se onkin vanhemmille lapsille suunnattu. Kirjassa tutustutaan magneettien toimintaan: Emmi pitää taikuriesityksen ja selittää miten saa pallon liikkumaan magneetin avulla. Magneetit tulevat avuksi myös kun Ihaan häntä on mennyt hukkaan.
Vaikka vierastan näitä 2000-luvun tietokoneanimaatioversioita klassikoista, olen oppinut vähän tykkäämäänkin "supernuuskijoista". Kirjassa ei ole TV-sarjan vetovoimaa ja se on huomattavasti TV-versiota kuivempi, mutta magneettien toiminta on selitetty havainnollistavasti ja selkeästi. 2-vuotiaalta se toki menee vielä yli hilseen ja viehätyksenä on lähinnä tuttujen hahmojen seuraaminen sivulta toiselle.
