I read these to my kids, a 9 year-old girl and 7 year-old boy. They both enjoyed them. For me, the pacing of these stories took a lot of getting used to. Looking forward to next in series. Hoping that Max will bring over characters from the Dork Dairies. Honestly, these books seemed a bit stretched out. I'm glad I got the three together. Wouldn't have enjoyed waiting for book two, only to find out it would be carried to book three.
