No Honor Amongst Thieves

Rate this book
“My husband was down on his knees, bloodied, battered, and beaten to the point he could barely hold himself up. He’d always been a warrior, my warrior. They would kill him, I knew that. I felt it with everything within me. My husband was going to die, and it was all my fault. . . .”

Meet Marcel and Sabrina, a hitman and a bookkeeper for the Mob. The couple should have never met, let alone fallen in love. When they decide to go against the grain, all hell breaks loose. Somebody wants them dead; they just don't know who. It could be Leo, Marcel’s jealous older brother; Othello, Sabrina’s crooked father; or it could be The Family, a roundtable of the top contenders in the underworld. There is no honor amongst thieves. Marcel and Sabrina will find the old adage to be true the hard way.

Oh the twists!

This is the first book I've read by this author and it will not be the last. Crime Drama's are my favorite and I loved the suspense in this book that kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page! I found myself asking the question as to who were friends and who were foes, as a handshake in this novel could have mean sure death, while a business deal could be a deal with the devil. Movies and books about the MOB are my forte and the MOB element portrayed in this book was definitely on point! I love reading books that have several twists and turns where the element of surprise leaves you flipping back through the pages wondering how the hell you missed what your mind could not have possibly conceived! I cannot say enough about this book other than I really enjoyed it and I HIGHLY recommend you add it to your list of must reads. Great job Brick and Storm for thinking outside the box.

This Rating System Needs Upgrading

I never gush about books anymore; minds out the gutter people. I'm an avid, no voracious reader. My bank statements can attest to my love of books. This book right here!? Worthy of far more than five stars.

This book has the potential to be an explosive series...but alas this author has a rare quality. Don't read another review, you're wasting your time! Download this book, order the paperback, it's whatever floats your boat. Just don't miss out.

Excellent Read

Brick and Storm always brings the heat with their books. I loved every moment of this story. Marcel was no joke and did not come to play. Sabrina was ride or die for her man. Lyric was smart beyond her years. This book had just the right amount of suspense, love, murder and mayhem.

I hate to he that person... but god this was BAD. Ok first of all the very first chapter is an insane spoiler! It already tells you what the rest is going to be about- her having a kid with Marcel and him being in mob shit! So there’s no surprise at all when she started getting feelings for him( which as weird since every time she saw him he was killing someone and was gone for weeks at a time yet they fell in love without questioning it. ) everything moved so quickly. Days passed and weeks passed and it was like oh he scared her and then they love each other oh now she’s pregnant and he’s excited?? No.
Way too boring I skimmed the last half of the book and wasn’t pleased at all. DNF for sure. Oops.

Good read

I really enjoyed Marcel’s character and the family. Sabrina really got on my nerves, but all in all it was a good read.
