I won't say that i loved this book because the stories that this book tells is to shake you, anger you and make you sad that this happens in this so called progressive world but not to be loved. The book is written without any sugar coating or polishing but real stories that the author has heard or been part of in his line of work.
The author not only tells the stories with great sensitivity also warns and deals extensively with how to recognise signs of abuse, danger and tells to always believe in a sense of self preservation and trust the instincts rather bow down to ridicule
Its a book that every woman, parent must read
The only shortcoming is that the book requires editing as there are some grammatical and spelling errors but these are over shadowed by the topic
I received this as part of review from the author through @BookTasters

"A Woman's Fear" was a very informative and heart-wrenching read about the various forms of female and child abuse, as well as the struggles among some women in romantic or marital relationships, which can lead to depression, anxiety, and other issues. The author includes some of his personal emergency calls, what happened to different anonymous victims, and the effects that can result from these events. It also explains the corruption within society that can cause some female abuse incidents and the importance of facing reality; and particularly women. This book evaluates the dangers of being paralyzed in fear, as it can limit one in knowing what to do to at least try to prevent these traumatic events from happening to oneself, or know how to cope after experiencing these terrible situations. Finally, the book praises women for their strength and giving those that have and haven't been victims credit for all the many things they do. For example, as wives and mothers, or being the main source of keeping a home together. Although I stumbled over some misworded sentences, I commend the author for his years of medical service as a paramedic and firefighter, sharing his experiences, and understanding the woman and her feelings more than the average man. Kudos to you!

A Woman's Fear: Female Abuse, by author Caesar Rondina, is a striking and important read. The book covers the topic of female abuse covers everything from types of abuse, what is abuse, awareness, prevention, the effects, and much more. Rondina does an excellent job of using facts and research to tackle the technical aspects as well as more subtle or invisible aspects like whether to report or not, surviving, facing reality, and more. Rondina gives real accounts and cases, without real names, of course, that are really eye-opening about what goes on in abuse and what gets categorized as abuse. As a firefighter and paramedic, Rondina is able to speak from a place of experiences and understanding of these cases and really goes through the book with an honest, personal, and real way. This book is about an extremely important subject, and Rondina does a great job of navigating it. I would highly recommend this book.

This book tries to tell us the real definition of abuse. It also introduces us to much more violent and heart touching problems, incidents about which we can not imagine even exist on such a large scale.

'It covers the subjects of female abuse, awareness, and suggests many ways to prevent it.

In life, no one expects the unexpected, but that unexpected occurs, and not everyone handles things the same way or processes the information in the same way.
Just because someone is able to accept something, that does not mean they will accept everything. It also highlights the need to report such attacks, to control fear and not have them control you.'

The most interesting line according to me said by women in this book is "If I could passing a baby the size of a football between my legs, I can do anything."

At some point, this book deeply touched my soul.
The writer did a very good job in this book. I recommend this book to everyone.

This book is raw and tries to be as factual as possible. Some of the anecdotes are scary and some thought provoking. This book is also a sneak peek of the lives of paramedics with gory details at times.

The only reason I couldn't give 5 rating is because I felt that the author could have said something about the need for men to respect women and for how boys need to be raised with gender sensitivity. I love this book for the simple fact that this book tells and again re-tells that you all have a life to look forward to even if it doesn't feel like that now.

The book needs language editting but that is not a major setback at all.

Abuse is still something very hard for women to admit is happening to them and this book tells many stories and unfortunately there so many types of abuse that this book touches on. It also touches on other issues that some people find it very hard to talk about; this is a book that I think could be read again and for sure needs to be read by more people. It's really that good. This book needs to be read in book clubs, it can help so many women.

A courageous look at the realities many face
This book sheds light on problems that too often stay hidden. The author’s experience responding to emergencies adds a perspective you don’t usually get from typical self-help or awareness books. It’s clear the author is passionate about helping women stay informed, safe, and empowered. I learned a lot, and I’m grateful for the honest, responsible approach.

I recieved this book from the author through Booktasters in exchange for my honest review.

This is a bit of a hard read. As someone that has seen domestic violence and other traumatizing events, this hit close to home. It's thought provoking with his stories he has heard through his job as an EMT. I love the fact that he included hotlines throughout the book in case they are needed.

Although there were a lot of typos, I was able to read this book. I feel like I have seen a new deeper side to this topic.
