So much important information. I like that it reiterates things from other chapters so it stays in mind. Some chapters have different answers for the same questions though. Like a chapter says full ppe weighs 40 lbs and another chapter says full ppe is 50lbs. We will see how I do on the real test in a few months.

I had to read this textbook during my firefighter academy, and it was basically the foundation for the whole exam. Even now, I still go back and look through it to keep my skills sharp. It’s packed with solid info and definitely something every firefighter should have. Most academies will either make you buy it or give you a copy. Mine gave it to us for free, which was awesome because it’s not cheap. Honestly, I enjoyed reading it more than I expected and would recommend it to anyone starting their journey in the fire service.
