Kurt Francom of the Leading Saints Podcast has created a non-profit organization to better train LDS church leaders. Rick Bennett sat down and talked about Kurt's approach to helping bishops better minister to ward members. What can be done to improve teaching in LDS wards? "“We’ve Got to Have These Difficult Conversations," Kurt said. He talks how to make wards more LGBT friendly, what he thinks about the policy excluding children of gay parents from being baptized, whether there should be changes made to bishop's interviews with youth, and how he dealt with a good friend and counselor who left the church.
