Born 1954 in Berlin, lives in Bubenreuth near Erlangen (Germany) today. Married, two grown-up sons. Physicist. Used to work in Universities. Teaching and research. Many papers. After retirment lyrical and philosophical texts.
Mine is not a review but a search for a woman from my youth that I wronged. I've been searching for her for decades to ask for her forgiveness. I let my naive nature mixed with honesty and alcohol while visiting her in Germany cause her to suffer and have punished myself ever since. I'll continue to do so until I receive her forgiveness. I remember her as a bright soul, one that I damaged. She deserved so much more than my immature self was willing to provide. I regret ever causing her any sadness. Her name was Cornelia (Connie) Berndl. I met her in the states (Florida to be exact). She worked for Semens Energy at the time. My name is Richard Purcell. Connie, if you ever get this, I know that I don't deserve it but if you ever find it within you to forgive me, please, forgive me. I think about you OFTEN and ask whatever is out there that has the ability to do so to bestow upon you those good things that you deserve. I know that that which you found sacred back then in my hope has given you a fulfilled life. Mine has not been so fulfilling but I suppose that I deserve it. If only for the pain that I caused you. I pray that our Creator blesses you Connie. Sincerely, Rich
