It took me a while to get into Redemption because there were so many character introductions in the first two chapters, but I’m pleased I persevered because it was well worth reading!

Sabrina Brooks (also known as Bree) is the protagonist in this well constructed novel. As the Nightcrawler, a vigilante, she attempts, single-handedly, to rid New York City of its vast criminal underground, particularly drug dealers. Ken Stevenson (AKA the “Black Panther”) has been jumped from prison by the “Thinker”, and together with Aleister Piedmont, they take on the underground of NYC. Al Piedmont is a Mafia Don in NYC, dealing in narcotics, gambling, and prostitution, among others. They are a ruthless team, and will stop at nothing to get what they want, i.e. control of the underworld of NYC.
The question is, does Sabrina succeed in her quest? Well, if you want the answer you’ll have to read the book.

Bree, being beautiful, rich and famous, is capable of procuring the necessary chemicals to achieve her goal since she owns the Brooks Chemical Company (BCC). She is involved with the police mainly because she’s engaged to a member of the NYPD, Hoyt Wexford. But that’s not all, she also becomes involved with the FBI…

Once I’d got into the story, I found I couldn’t stop reading, and would recommend this novel to all who enjoy some really good crime fighting, albeit somewhat gory in places.

The Nightcrawler returns

This latest outing for the author's Nightcrawler is quite literally the most explosive yet. For once I can't say too much without giving the main plot lines away.
Sabrina Brooks of course returns as the super-vigilante known to the police and the public as, The Nightcrawler. Despite her previous efforts the gangs attempting to flood the city of New York are still in business, as ruthless and murderous as ever.
This time however, they take things to another level. Believing that Sabrina can lead them to the vigilante, they target her business, blowing up her premises, causing terrible injuries to her friend and father-figure, Jon, followed by a devastating attack on Police Plaza, destroying the building and causing multiple deaths.
Now, the gloves are off as Sabrina goes into full revenge mode with devastating consequences for the bad guys. Suddenly death and destruction rains down upon the criminal fraternity as the Nightcrawler strikes at the very heart of their organisation. If you enjoyed the first three Nightcrawler books, you will definitely love this one! Well done Mr Dizon.

If like me you are a fan of the TV series, Ozark, you must read Redemption, book 4 in The Night Crawler series. Like Ozark, this action-packed thriller portrays the violence that is a part of the world of drug dealers in a way that is almost too nail- bitingly realistic, but never enough to stop you from turning the page.

Sabrina Brooks, CEO of Brooks Chemical Company is determined to stop an International Crime Syndicate from bringing a $500 million shipment of heroin into New York. She already knows that in the dog-eat-dog world of organized crime, mafia bosses will stop at nothing to achieve their ends. But when her pharmaceutical company is bombed, her counselor crippled, the love of her life missing; Sabrina makes punishing the villains responsible her personal vendetta. But with her long-time ally, the Night Crawler presumed dead, is Sabrina biting off more than she can chew?

Sweeping the reader into the ruthless world of the mafia, John Reinhard Dizon provides non-stop excitement scarcely rivaled by the Ozark series itself.

This is the fourth book in a series I highly recommend. The author rips the story from the headlines and makes readers think if it is based on truth or another compelling product of this author's brilliant mind. You don't have to read the other books to follow the story line, but you should. Meet Sabrina Brooks, a woman who has an amazing life and a lot of secrets. A dangerous man known as the thinker is on the lose. Sabrina, because of her ties to the mysterious Nightcrawler is caught up in the action. Because I don't want to throw in any spoilers, I'll just say I love the character of the Nightcrawler and this author's intense and suspense filled story takes readers into a story they won't want to miss.

The plot ingredients added up to an interesting story. The plot was cleverly woven. The characters were drawn artistically, meticulously and very much appealing. I love Sabrina, she's intriguing!

I enjoyed reading from start to finish, can't put it down until the last page. Honestly, while reading like I am watching James Bond movie. Some mystery, mixed with romance, fast-paced scenes, the thrill is escalating and no borings scene. You can't guess what's next, you'll just be surprised.

This a superb masterpiece, the author is brilliant and really talented. He knows how to win the reader's interest.
Will read more of his books, it's guaranteed worthy of our time, and money.

REDEMPTION NIGHTCRAWLER –John Dizon
When crime escalates in New York, the NYPD, are slow to react and to appreciate the magnitude of the problem, except of course Bryan Wilson. To the rescue comes a vigilante- Sabrina (the night crawler), a young woman of extraordinary abilities. This time though, she is up against a worthy adversary, the Thinker, who has managed to unite dangerous competing gangs for the sole purpose of flooding NY with drugs. In this novel characterisation and the plot are all well done and the storyline keeps the reader wanting to turn the pages.
For me, it was the theme which had the biggest impact and demonstrated both the writer’s cleverness and research. The essence of a good novel comprises both a plot and theme and a classic example is Charles Dickens’s, Oliver Twist. In the Redemption, the plot can in many places be substituted, such as America for New York.
I can recommend this book for adult reading, though be warned that the story involves blood-thirsty gangs and as one would expect their language and actions can be pretty bad.
