This is super niche information but exactly what I was looking for. So much of the entrepreneurial literature has little to no advice on government contracting, especially for services. Rawson provides a clear and concise instruction manual for starting from zero, literally from before you’ve even created your company, through to hiring/firing employees once you’ve won work. Some of the details are outdated (for instance, DUNS was replaced) but otherwise an extremely applicable and actionable guide for small businesses seeking to win work with the government. Highly highly recommend.
Linda does a great job of sharing socioeconomically disadvantaged small business advice and tips. I was unaware of many things she described before I read this book. I recommend it.
