Over the last few years, Sarah Rigg has watched her friends find their soulmates, but it's never been the right time for her to find love.
When she meets Patrick Willett, she knows he's not going to be Mr. Right. Although he's funny, smart, handsome and loves kids, he's got one flaw — he's engaged to another woman. But maybe he has a friend who's just like him?
Her last blind date ended up with her friend Charlotte falling in love with the potential suitor before she could even go out with him. This round of matchmaking had to be better, right?
Although the book was a quick read, it is so similar to the previous five that one could almost predict the whole story. At this point, I may need to take a break from Candle Beach before I see how Maura will end up with the owner of the hotel 😒
I Loved all 6 Books. I hope there will be Books 7,8,9 & so on, to see the continuing lives of all these Characters. Now that Maura has met all the other Friends, she needs to have her happily ever after also. Also, time for Charlottes wedding & Sarah's wedding. Thank You Nicole Ellis for a Fabulous Series. Now, Please continue it.
I just binge-read all six Candle Beach books, and I loved them. My British husband calls me "a soppy date" because I love romances and HEA stories. I loved the characters and the way each succeeding book included characters from preceding stories. Well worth reading if you want to keep believing in love. Please write more in this series!
Outstanding romance with beautiful stories. I cried more than once over the story line and happenings in the characters lives. The entire series were Great reads ! Thank you!
I read all six book moving on to the 7th. But the couple in this book was by far the most annoying couple! It seem like he knew a lot about her from meeting her the prior year and he asked she even says that he remembers a lot about her but she doesn’t bother asking him about him and things she know about him. If she would have the whole misunderstanding would have been cleared! Either way this was my least favorite out of the series. To much teen drama for two adult teachers! This book took me the longest to read because got anxiety reading it! So be legally prepared to be annoyed with this couple!
All the books in this series are consistently true to the name of the series, 'Sweet Romances'. I refer to them as my Hallmark books. Small town, female with a problem, meets man and doesn't care for at first. In a few days time he turns out to be the answer to her problem. The problem gets solved and they live happily ever after. Quick read, I usually finish in one sitting.
Cute book with the story of real friendship continuing through. Love the simplicity of of the book and the storyline is good, thoughtful and keeps you wanting to read more. In a world of so much angst it is nice to get lost in a book of cheer.
Great story. Nicole is great about keeping you interested until the end of the book. You hope that Sarah will find her true love, but you have to wait to find out if it will happen.
This was a good read. Sarah and Patrick meet at a class gor teachers. The next year they run into each other but Sarah thinks he is still engaged. They both like each other but things are complicated with them. Thankfully, in the end everything works out, and they get their happy ending.
This is the 6th book in the Candle Beach Series, however, this can be read as a stand alone.
Sweet Matchmaking a heart warming story about elementary school teach Sarah Riggs who has found everything shes ever wanted except the love of her life. She has almost given up when her brother gives her some great advise. Will his advise pay off?
I really enjoyed Sweet Matchmaking by Nicole Ellis. Once I picked this book up it was very hard to put down! I really enjoyed the characters and found them very relatable. If you enjoy sweet and heartwarming stories this is a great one!
I recieved an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.
