Finally a book for children about classic movies!! My 9-year-old loved this book and wants to buy a copy for all of the libraries in the school district. As a classic movie fan and parent, I think it’s important for kids to understand the history of film. This book is so special because it connects kids to the history of film in a way that is relevant and modern. Great book for any young reader! I don’t know of another book quite like this out there that teaches kids about classic movies and I'm excited to share with friends. Highly recommended!!

Kids need to understand where today's YouTube videos originated - from the origins of storytelling, to theatre, light shows, and vaudeville - to the invention of still photography, series motion photography and of course film. Perfect for ages kindergarten through 5th grade, but any age wanting a primer on the history of film would enjoy. Comes with recommendations of silent and classic movies perfect for kids.
