Loads of money ,taught in a way that the money will stay and turn into wealth. This is the best investment book written for people from all walks of life. This book is a comprehensive, precise and a thorough study on how to conquer the intricacies of the stock market for your benefit.Without confusing the reader in a labyrinth of technical jargon Dr.Rawal has successfully managed to bring home financial products ,what they mean, how to acquire them and make them work for you ,for a layman.Having said that, this book is not just for the common man but also a guide for professionals in financial and capital markets, which should be a part of commerce curriculum. An enjoyable and easy read it also contains nuggets of the author's own successful wealth creation. The author has put his money where his mouth is. For me this book is not just a book on how to make money but also on how to use those tips as great life lessons.Logical, concise, eloquent and a must read for everyone who has grappled with wealth creation.

My key takeaways from this book include:
1. Investing in companies whose industries you understand and are willing to learn more about a.k.a your circle of competence.
2. The price you're willing to buy at should provide you with a margin of safety so you can minimize risks and almost eliminate some the longer you invest.
3. It's a long game and can be life long. Patience, common sense and emotional regulation are key.
4. Learn to read financial reports so you're able to evaluate the companies better. Using ratios to compare companies within the same industry can also help you make decisions.
5. When you invest in a company, you should see yourself as a part owner and should act as one.
6. Value investing shouldn't keep you up at night. Once you've done your research, and the parameters you evaluated haven't changed much, the rise and fall of the market shouldn't faze you.
7. The market is cyclical and will always correct itself.
8. India was in a similar position Nigeria is currently in in the 80s and they were able to turn things around to become one of the strongest ecomomies. I'm curious about how they did this.

P.S: All of these concepts were mentioned numerous times and I found it a little repetitive but it also helped with retention. The book deserves a second read because it had a lot of unfamiliar concepts that flew over my head especially how to apply this knowledge personally. I don't know if I'll ever invest in the Nigerian Stock Exchange but I think it's also one of the things that can help our economy. We'd need to encourage local companies to grow. I also didn't get the currency references despite googling it.

There are also recommended finance books at the end. I'll be reading a few of them over the next couple years 🤞🏾.

Tejinderji, why didn't you write this book 10 years earlier. This book is my guru.

I re-read this book everytime, I plan to short sell and buy when greed and fear over rule. Good business gives great and sustainable profit. Which is true, and this book advices on the methodology of investing in a business rather than a money making/losing machine.
Thanks sirji, a true Guru teaches the failures first to experience the sucess.
