This was very informative for a book with a devotional element. You might be surprised, as I was, with the amount of history and truth you'll find here. There are many with misconceptions surrounding Christmas, such as the many voices claiming that its baptized paganism. Give this book a read for next year!

Fantastic book that adddresses common myths and arguments associated with Christmas. The scripture references are spot on, and I would not expect anything less from Pastor Gabriel Hughes (although there are some spelling, grammar, and word edits needed, which is why I gave it 4 stars - I know author will be addressing them in the next update of the kindle edition). I highly recommend this book to those open to being challenged on their longheld traditions related to Christmas (and believe me, this book could step on the toes of some in that regard, so you have been warned!).

On a personal note, Pastor Gabriel Hughes podcast WWUTT has been a supreme blesssing in my life as it continues to keep me focused upon the Word of God every day and challenges me to align myself with Scripture, to trust in Jesus Christ who died for my sins, and honoring the Lord with all my thoughts, words and actions in response. If you like this book, seek out this podcast as well - I promise you will not be disappointed.

I Wish Everyone Would Read This Book

Rarely is a book worth 5 stars, in my opinion, but this one is. Not only is it well organized and well written, but it contains valuable information that will help people to sort out truth from fiction when it comes to Christmas.
The author also makes a strong defense of the faith, and his love for people shows clearly as he reaches out to everyone with the greatest gift of all: the Lord Jesus Christ, given for us so that we could be forgiven of our sins and have hope of an eternal future in Heaven with God.

The Truth About Christmas

Gabriel Hughes has done an amazing job of explaining Christmas and the myths and celebrations around it. It’s not about the day, but it’s about CHRIST!! We are created to worship HIM and because HE became a man, was sinless and became the PERFECT SACRIFICIAL LAMB, that took our sins and the wrath that we deserved HE deserves ALL glory! May we praise HIM for all eternity!!
