I can not recommend this book enough!

The first half of the book is an introduction to the alkaline cure, that will also prepare you to the 14 days eating plan.

The recipes are easy and most of it can be prepared a day ahead which is great.

By the end of this cure, you will have more energy, your skin will appear clearer and last but not the least, you will lose some stubborn pounds.

I wasn’t able to find all the ingredients in my local grocery market so I’ve just replaced it with some similar veggies. A highly recommended book!

The basis of this feels super sound - eat more whole foods, more fruit and veg and whole grains. Eat less meat and processed foods. Slow down when you eat. Get exercise. Chew your food. My issue with it is that it takes things that are true and then makes some leaps of logic and presents ideas that don't have any backing by any peer reviewed studies or research. Herbs are great, and have interesting properties. They don't prevent cancer. Its basic diet and lifestyle advice with a sprinkle of Wellness Industry pseudo science.
