Of all the non-fiction horse books I've read this year, I can honestly say this is the best. It's a simple dictionary format of horse breeds and types, but the illustrations are good, the layout works and the information is interesting. The book starts with two pages about what a horse is, the book ends with a glossary and index, and everything else is just a dictionary.
Listed as one of my horse books in 2018 as the entire book is about horses (and luckily I read this just after reading a book with a zebra on the cover as I now know a zebra is definitely a type of horse).
I love this book, it's got great illustrations and has been one of my faves since 4th grade. it's a great book and i think that if you love, like, or are just interested in horses you should read it!
