100 good, if short, analyses of important literary characters. Though obviously open for debate, and there were a number that I felt were left out, others who’s importance I felt were overrated and plenty that I had never heard of, it was a decent list that spanned centuries, countries and genres. But included a shockingly few science fiction characters.

It’s interesting if you’re a literature nerd. There’s definitely a wide array of characters making this a more inclusive list than many you’ve probably seen before.
