أصول الحب

يعتبر كتاب ابن حزم من أول الكتب التي أخرجت للناس في الحب، وعلى كثرة ما ألف بعده في موضوعه، لا يزال ينفرد بما يجعل له مكانة خاصة بين كتبه ، فهو يعرض للحب في صراحة خارقة ، في سرد طريف يثير الإعجاب.
والمؤلف يحدثنا عن نفسه في صراحة ، وقد روى في ذلك أكثر من قصة، وهو يعتمد على الملاحظة المباشرة الحرة الصريحة ، والكتاب في حجمه الأصلي طويل يضيق عن الحجم المقدر لهذا المختصر ، وفي الأصل كلام كثير يصعب فهمه على القارئ العادي ، كما أن فيه كثرة الاستشهادات والأخبار في معان مكررة ، وكلام لا يجوز نشره ، ولذلك فهذا المختصر راعى حذف المكرر، ومالا يجوز نشره ، وشرح في الهامش ما صعب فهمه .

About the author

Ibn Hazm (Arabic: ابن حزم) was an Andalusian Muslim polymath, historian, traditionist, jurist, philosopher, and theologian, born in the Córdoban Caliphate, present-day Spain. Described as one of the strictest hadith interpreters, Ibn Hazm was a leading proponent and codifier of the Zahiri school of Islamic jurisprudence, and produced a reported 400 works, of which only 40 still survive.

In all, his written works amounted to some 80,000 pages. Also described as one of the fathers of comparative religion, the Encyclopaedia of Islam refers to him as having been one of the leading thinkers of the Muslim world.
