Loved reading this book. I felt like the characters were old friends I had not seen in a while and just catching up on their lives. Interesting twist of an apocalyptic invasion with no bullets mixed in with a tad of Red Dawn and Fight Club.

Although four authors wrote the book it flowed seamlessly keeping me up all night not wanting to put it down.

Looking forward to more collaborations of the DD12 authors. Thank you for donating ALL proceeds of the book to the DAV.

I really enjoyed this book and many of these authors are among my favorites. Unlike other books written by several authors where the tone and feel of the story shifts with each, this flowed extremely well from one author to the next. I liked the fact that a couple of authors had characters with their own last name. The characters were all strong and their interactions with each other one of the best facets of the book. In particular, I have to cheer for my fellow red-head, Mandy. I did feel that the collapse of the US was a bit on the not believable side, but still enjoyed the story.

Couldn't put it down!

I've read books by all these authors and really enjoy them. But, this book and this cause shiws tbe strong beart of each and all of them. The story is complelling snd the characters are real and strong and Patriots. Just as the DAV this book was written to honor and support. Also, 100% of the funds from sales go to DAV. Read a good book and support a good group.

Beautiful blending of 4 amazing authors!

From page one till the very end this tale of heroism will leave you happy, sad, excited, disgusted and finally relieved. The fact that these 4 authors donated their time to a cause that is dear to many of us who are patriots, shows the true character of these 4 authors. You will truly enjoy this collaboration and want more. Add to the fact you get to be a part of this by your purchase is like getting a present!

Holy crap! What a ride!

First off. The reason these four wrote this book is outstanding. 100% of proceeds going to Disabled Veterans. Nobel cause. I love it.

Now onto the book. These people have a way of bringing the apocalypse to life. I’ve read Boyd and Doug’s books before and loved them. I believe it’s time I move onto Glaspy and Akers now too. The pictures these people paint of Archie and McMinn and the crew is outstanding.

Awesome book

I've been reading a few of the author's that came together to write this book. Using a baseball analogy, this book is "out of the park" !!!!! I'm amazed that several different author's could write different chapters in a book and have the book come together seamlessly like this one did. If you aren't already a member of the FB group DD12, definitely join because you'll have personal access to these author's of Archie 's Heart, but several others like them.

My heart was in my throat the whole time.

Wow. This book took me on a rolled coaster ride. The writers were so good together. The scary thing is that in the world we live in now it could happen. I kinda freaked out because P.A Glaspy and the other writers make it feel so real. I've read some of there other books and I'm always left feeling leery because even though Emma weren't in this book it all.could happen.

Wow, wow, wow! Love these authors and love this book!

This is a round robin of action, tears, and love all topped off with a nice heaping helping of oh no you didn't. All of the characters are well thought out and entirely attention grabbing from the very start. Don't leave this book on the shelf, read it now!

Great read

This is one of the best fictional war books I've ever read. The characters were well developed, the attention to detail was amazing. It was near that each author could put their own spin and style into the novel and yet keep it cohesive. Kudos to each for writing from your strengths. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys war, rebellion, or post apoc stories.

Uplifting and terrifying story about freedom

Freedom doesn't come cheaply and true Americans fight for freedom after an invasion. China and Russia invade the USA but Americans need their freedom.

A Reflection of Current Times and Where We Could Be Heading.

In this time of CCP virus and anarchist citizens trying to tear the nation apart, this story points out it is also time to come together, fight together and stay together.
