Holy Grail, part i

This is a great book, I think the author is a soul-sister. All the beautiful recipes lay out a grand spread of peanut butter's range and capabilities to go from breakfast to snack to dinner entrée without a falter or misstep. But I am seeking the Holy Grail of Peanut Butter Fudge, my grandmother's secret recipe. If your HG is something else, plaino plain or outrageously fancy, Ms. Li's book is for you. Since I am the martinet of five star ratings, and really refuse to write anything else, you can consider the recipes 5 star, but the ability to use a book easily and quickly is also of singular importance to me. Ms. Li is after my heart, she groups her recipes as a surgeon, like with like, same purpose with same purpose, but the Table of Contents is at the back instead of an Index. The TOC being so well organized and in alphabetical order, it still reads like an index, but since I identified her as a soul sister, it is a bit confusing bcs like purpose (cake, pie, etc., etc.,) is not with like purpose, and the layout isn't quite consistent tabularly, so it doesn't read as smoothly as one would like. Okay, nitpicky, I am, sorry. Her philosophy of cooking is spot on: enjoy cooking for your family, don't worry about exact ingredients, just have some fun is perfect and much more pleasurable, but I, being imperfect (totally,) need the most exacting of instruction in order to fly free and riff. She is certainly a better soul sister than me. However, other than those two extremely didactic comments, everything you need and desire to maximize your peanut butter expertise is here and you will shine before every critic. Thank you, Ms. Li, I look forward to your next cookbook, I know it will be equally brilliant and thoughtful, don't over worry about my criticism, I'm just a gooberhead.
