Why write a book about Peter Phillips? He's just the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II. He does not have a title. He is not royal. So why bother? Well, put simply, the fascinating thing about Peter is that, despite being amidst giants, he is never eclipsed. He walks comfortably among the giants because he is comfortable in his own skin. He knows who he is. He knows what he wants. In that respect, he is a model character and definitely someone worth writing about. Brian Hoey wrote a biography of his sister, equestrian champion Zara Phillips Tindall. Brian Hoey has also written about Peter's mother, Princess Anne the Princess Royal. This book is not meant to be a biography as much as it is meant to be an introduction to a boy whose first public act, his baptism, was held in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace!
