But there are many dangers on the way. This book through some wonderful illustrations narrate their efforts to reach the sea.

A prolific children's author from India, Swapna Dutta has been publishing stories in newspapers and magazine for four decades, and has written many books for young readers, in a variety of genres. She was awarded a National Fellowship for literature by the Ministry of Human Resources in 1986, and a National Award for creative writing in Hindi by the Central Hindi Directorate in 1993. She has also received a number of Children's Book Trust Awards for short story, one-act-play and picture books (in English, Hindi and Bengali).

I found this old book that used to belong to me when I was younger, but now it’s my brother’s. I decided to read it again to pass the time, even though it’s more suited for younger readers like him.
