Bo and Miquel

After ten years they meet again Bo and Miquel. Back then they had one immensely intense moment. Miquel disappears and just now they meet. Both never forgot that moment.
Now instantly the heat is on again. Only Miquel has only one week in Climax, Colorado. He offers Bo the week of his life, he’ll promise him will the most intense time. Bo would give his life if Miquel asked. So okay, one week.
He desperately tries to let Miquel fall in love with him, so he’ll stay. Bo senses Miquel has things he doesn’t or can’t talk about.

Fuuuckkk it was an incredibly intense story. The author used just the right words and the right lines that made me swoon. One minus, the end and revealing the secrets was a bit disappointed, it wasn’t in balance with the story. It could have been something more, more emotions, more, I don’t know.
For the rest, it was a delicious read with sweet spanking, warm kisses and, a lot of licking!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Kinky Cowboys series. This is the second chance romance between Bo and Miquel. They had an intimate moment just before they graduated high school involving a spanking and neither forgot it. Now ten years later, they saw each other again and Bo realized he regretted never finishing their encounter and kiss. When they see each other in Climax, Bo is interested in picking things up where they left off. Miquel is in town for a job, but it a secret and he can't tell anyone why he is there. Bo knows Miquel is working for his boss and when Miquel asks him not to ask questions, Bo agrees. Miquel is only going to be in town for a week and wants to spend his free time with Bo. Bo wants to use this time to cause Miquel to fall in love with him and see if they can have a future together. I loved this story. I love how Bo and Miquel seemed to fit together from the beginning. I love how both wanted to explore their kink and repeat the spanking. Bo was a great guy who's word meant everything to him and he wanted Miquel to realize he cared for him and wouldn't lie to him or hurt him. Another great one in this series. Well done.

This is the second book in a series of stories all linked to the town of Climax, Colorado (yup, really), although it can absolutely be read as a standalone. I loved pretty much everything about this novella: the setting is perfect, a picturesque town full of locals who take a tongue-in-cheek approach to the town name and, it seems, to life in general. The main couple, Bo and Miguel, share a kink (clue to that one in the title) as well as very brief, very hot history from back in their final moments of high school. Reunited by chance in Climax, their connection is beyond hot, but also just incredibly sweet: as Bo tells Miguel, “We’re just lucky our freak flags fly at the same elevation.” They work together emotionally as well as physically, and the feelings are as deep as the physical connection is steamy. They’re kind to each other and open with each other about what they want, not just in bed but in life, which is deeply satisfying. Definitely check this one out.

Second chance to savor a kiss and find love.  Sometimes there is a special moment in time that stays with us and is held close in our hearts.  I loved the memory and awareness of their first encounter when they were teenagers.  I enjoyed the story-line and found the characters engaging. 

Bo and Miguel are really steamy together and i loved how they found their own comfort zones in the relationship. These MC's are all grown up now and have the chance to spend a week together and explore what they didn't when they were younger.    They learn to dream and make the future their own.     

This is book second book in the Kinky Cowboys series. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Miquel and Bo stumbled into a steamy encounter on graduation night.
10 years later and they're both back in town.
As they slowly get to know one another, Miquel puts a week long timeline on their involvement.
Miquel is in town working on a secret project and this becomes a bone of contention between them because Miquel has trust issues stemming from bad past experiences.
As they spend time together, exploring and being sexualy adventurous, they begin to realize they want something more permanent.
When there's a misunderstanding concerning Miquel's secret, it almost causes a terrible situation.
Miquel is stunned and finally realizes that he can trust Bo.
The epilogue was really for these men getting their HEA was equally parts sweet and steamy.

This is a quick, fun, sexy and entertaining second chance love story with great characters and a sweet ending. Bo and Miquel are so cute together and I love that they still think about the one hot encounter they had together years ago. Now that they have met again their biggest obstacle is Miquel's inability to trust anyone. Bo will do everything he can to convince him that they are meant to be together. I love how they are exactly what the other needs and that they are willing to accept each other for who they really are. I can't wait to read the next book in this great series.

After the first book of this series disappointed me, I started with some doubts this second story, but fortunately from the very beginning Miquel and Bo have captured my fondness. This book is about their second chance, about reconnecting with your soulmate and accepting that they had to spend time apart in order to grow up and be able to fully accept their attraction and their kink.

I am happy that I gave this series another try. It is a short story, but very entertaining. Perfect for an afternoon read.

A wonderful second chance love story!

Bo and Miguel have a “moment” their senior year of high and then lose touch.

Years later they are reunited by chance. Quickly realizing they don’t want another moment to pass, they decide to spend the week together.

What follows is what love stories are made of...the guys have off the charts chemistry and have a trust in each that most of us will never know.

This is the second book by this author I’ve read and I cannot tell you how impressed I am. Her storylines are strong, characters are believable and lovable.

I enjoyed Bo and Miguel's story. It is a bit more complex that the first book in the series with a little mystery thrown in to add flavor to the sizzling chemistry between the MCs. They met once years ago, and when they get a second chance, the fire still burns hot. Burt is it hot enough to become something more, something that will last beyond the week? Lovely story with strong characters.

4.5 stars.. A hot start to the story as Bo remembers back in high school to Miguel and their encounter.
Now 10 years on they re-meet at Climax, Colorado. 
A bit of mystery as Miguel hides his reason being in Climax. Hot hot sexy scenes in the kitchen with cherry syrup and humorous lines that had me laughing. A beautiful ending for them both, who knew what a week would lead too.

I love second chance stories, Miguel had trust issues and Bo had one week to change his mind. What a week of kinky passionate sex, cherry syrup and spatulas and meet some of the characters of Climax, loved Wanda Jo and her repartee. I didn’t want the story to end.

I've read books 1-4, and after I read and reviewed book and started on book 2, I noticed a theme. They're all well written with certain aspects of kink..bondage in book 1, book 2 is spanking, book 3 chastity, and book 4 blindfolds. To me, it's not a deep love of true D/s, theyre just a kinky light fun read. They all have quirky interesting characters that are fun and easy to read.

This was such a great read. Second chance romances are a hit or miss for me and that’s usually because of why it didn’t work the first time. This one was a big hit. That’s mainly because of Bo and the way the author handled the first split. Bo is such a sweetheart that Miquel had to fall completely for him. And the surprise of why Miquel was there was an added bonus. I was given a copy to read and leave an honest review. I love when it’s a sweet surprise like this.

This is the second book in The Kinky Cowboys Series. A short story that has good writing. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and charming. Yes I did say spanking and cowboys! This sweet and lovely books has two wonderful characters Bo and Miquel, who have a little bit of a past that needs to be answered to before their can be more. They have a very sweet love that is adorable and hot at the same time. For being a short read, this author packs if full of everything you want. Did a great job of bringing the characters to life .

I enjoyed book two just as much as I did the first one. I really wish these were full length stories. I finished this one in under an hour. I'm not always a fan of second chance stories since there tends to be lots of angst and pain. Bo and Miguel were great characters and the chemistry between them was great. Bo and Miquel are surprised to meet up again though it’s just what they need. I liked that they were able to break down the barriers they have held up for so long. The author’s writing was much more enjoyable in the story, which may have come from feedback or experience but I didn’t have the frustration.
