Always glad to re-read a Shorty Thompson story, and these four exciting books are some of his very best. Plenty of suspenseful moments throughout this series of unending adventures, and Shorty's dedication to stopping the bad guys is unsurpassed.

Definitely another five star series of outstanding western adventures, with Shorty and his colleagues working together to bring justice to those denying peace and tranquility in their respective areas. These four informative stories gives the reader an idea of what it actually took to tame our old western frontier.
Mr. Paul Thompson is a master when it comes to selecting his characters, as they vividly portray their assigned roles to perfection. Too, the storylines descriptively represent the active ingredients of how our old American leaders finally brought peace and tranquility to all of the old western frontier.
There were definitely some suspenseful moments throughout these stories, and the compassionate camaraderie of the good guys, and gals, as they finally achieved their respective goals.
Most definitely recommend these outstanding masterpieces to all readers, but especially to all of you dedicated western folklore enthusiasts. You non-western readers will certainly be appeased in these compassionately motivated success stories, especially when you get four outstanding western masterpieces for the price of one. There is also a little romance thrown in to appease the most endearing reader's undivided attention. Remember, the loss is yours if you fail to read these outstanding stories, and you cannot say I didn't give you the encouragement to read them!!!😃

RIDING FOR THE BRAND

All great adventures they all have the same plot as all westerns have..you know the good guys and the owlhoots. Each adventure we are introduced to characters we've never read about in previous U. S. Marshal Shorty Thompson adventures. The action is in every sentence, never a dull moment, lots of western history, the author writes about how the Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico, is using the Old Mexican Land Grant and the Santa Fe Cartel Regulators to take over towns under the auspices of the Mexican government..another
greedy politician's way to start another political motivated secessionist war between the United States and Mexico the aim is take back almost half of south western lands. Lots of action and history..you will all enjoy...so everyone keep your coffee hot and your cinches tight..PEACE

What a great value four stories on Shorty in one book. Could not ask for a better deal than that. I have read these books before but they are worth reading over and over. Paul Thompson writes some really great books on U. S. pMarshall Shorty Thompson. I buy everyone I can find. I love these books. Thank you Paul L. Thompson for. Some great stories.
