Parakeets are birds The parakeet I learned about is called Shell Parakeets are also called budgies They are playful and they can fly Parakeets can be very colorful A 3 year old boy has parakeets as pets like my pet Parakeets are soft You need to clean their cage 3 times a week

They live from 7 to 20 years Budgies love climbing swinging and chewing things Playing on a swing is good exercise Budgies can send you messages with body language A sick budgie crouches down and fluffs its feathers Vet visits should happen every 4 months You should handle them carefully Do not grab them Feeding them lettuce avocado or cabbage can make them sick Do not let your budgie out if someone is cooking Baby budgies are blind and open their eyes after 7 days
