Didn’t really enjoy this. Not a great plot, characters who were not very likeable so I didn’t much care if they found themselves in danger. The dialogue irritated me - the constant use of of instead of ‘ve. The use of the expression OK which was not prevalent in the UK early in the war. Yes the attitudes to women working etc were spot on but you can’t just get one thing right and other period details so wrong!

The English that they use is a little bit hard to understand at times. Lots of history. Very interesting read.
