Anchors are an absolute in life, from family to friends to books. I guess this book was compiled with that in mind. It was published in 1931 and I am lucky to chance upon one of its early bindings from my grandmother's collection. A treasure. There was one short story about a car racer who went through an accident and luckily survived, he shared about his worries at a time he felt he was nearing his end. He humbly quoted, "...All one can really do is put it out of ones mind. One's just got to conquer that. It isn't courage, it's just a case of overcoming whatever it is that worries you..." The message is evergreen. Regardless of our circumstances, we all struggle with worries. His advice is a great first step.
