I was very pleased with this trilogy. I don't normally read books that take place outside the U.S., but this was a great family saga. I'm also glad to see that she had an editor for this book, unlike the second one. There were only a few grammatical errors in this one, but not NEARLY as many as the previous...much better.
I'm not going to summarize this book because you really need to read the first two to understand what's going on, but if you like family saga's, war, love, tragedy, betrayal, and London, then I definitely recommend this threesome of books. They were VERY entertaining, and I'm sooo glad I read them.
Really not happy with the ending in this book. Left me angry actually. Not that I wanted a soppy ending with everything tied up neatly in a bow, just an ending. I feel it was left in mid air and it made me unsettled.
better than first but not as good as second. all in all a decent historical family saga. there were a few editorial errors. nicely wraps up all the plot lines. a decent read.
Completion of the trilogy about the Granville sisters post-WWII. Not the most intellectual book, but a very enjoyable read as the author really drew the reader into this family.
