This book is also written under Ellerbeck's other name Nicola Thorne. A re-read and still a lovely story about a small village in Dorset and it's inhabitants.

I picked up this book at a favourite bookshop in Stratford a number of years ago, started it, and could put it down til done.

I only tried one other by Ellerbeck ("Hammersleigh") which was completely different but fairly good in its own right.
