Rate this book
In part one, Stanley has a life changing road trip with Jeff. The two of them have a large number of strange experiences with people from many walks of life and then they drive away to get Stanley to his new job on time. While Stanley is at his new job in part 2, he is too busy learning and growing to spend time reflecting on that trip. But, the short term contract is just a short term contract and ends, leaving his future uncertain but hopeful. Now it is time for the trip back home and Jeff offers to keep him company on the trip. Stanley knows this means it won’t be a simple road trip but also knows his time with Jeff is not over. He knows there is more to learn and more vertical growth in store for him.

Bestselling author and playwright Will Holcomb captivates audiences with heartfelt stories exploring questions about real life human connection, individual authenticity, and the possibility of how our lives can be transformed by our interactions.

Will didn't start out as a writer -- but he had ideas that wouldn't stop so he started pouring them into words, and ended up with best-selling and critically-acclaimed works. Before he began writing at age 45, Will taught elementary school -- and then went back to college, where he earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science and became a software engineer.

His play, The Puzzler, won the Audience Acclaim Award at TexFest2023, and his other play, Clinically Un-Depressed, continually performs sold-out shows to audiences who repeatedly rave about the show as they laugh through their tears.

Part I of The Infinite Jeff won the Gold Medal in the 2023 Global Book Awards, and is ranked as #1 bestseller in Spiritual Fiction on Goodreads.

Will grew up in northern Michigan (Cheboygan, to be exact) before moving to Texas and landing in Smithville, Texas -- where he now lives with his wife and enjoys time with his 6 children and 4 granddaughters.

Throughout his life, Will enjoyed many interests and hobbies — including building houses, rebuilding cars, building furniture, riding his motorcycle, traveling and exploring new places, and many other things. Will is also on the library board, plays racquetball whenever he can, and also put out an album with an organization he started called “Songs of Smithville”.

Thank you for joining Will on this journey!

After reading Parts 1 & 2 couldn't wait to read Part 3 and was fascinated by where the story was headed and how it would conclude. When I reached the end I was at first dismayed that the conclusion to the story was in to be released Part 4. I thought about my enjoyment of reading the book and then reflected that like Stanley we were on a journey and the destination / conclusion didnt matter as much as enjoying the journey along the way. As Jeff says its the questions we ask not the answers that are important. These books have been a wonderful journey of self discovery and asks the questions we all need to ask ourselves.

The most thought provoking book I’ve read in many years. Holcomb weaves an engaging narrative with well-developed characters who are relatable and interesting. Most of all, this “parable of change” prompted me to assess and reevaluate my own life through a healthy lens. While reading and reflecting, I was entertained, challenged and encouraged! The Infinite Jeff series is a one-of-a-kind reading pleasure.

It is easy to gravitate to the Best Sellers list when looking for something to read, but it won’t guarantee you will get to read all of the best books available today. Earlier this year, I went with a group to see a play called “Clinically Undepressed” at the Bastrop Opera House. It was a very cleverly written play acted out by some excellent local talent. We met the play’s writer in the lobby, Will Holcomb. He was promoting his book series “The Infinite Jeff” Parts 1, 2, and 3. I simply took one of the bookmarks he was passing out in the lobby of a local theater and tucked it away. The title intrigued me. I felt, sure why not give the book a try? It would be a change of pace to read something by a local (Central Texas) independent author, so I ordered the first and then the second and then the third!! The author cautions they are not stand-alone books and that you have to read them in order. Each one is about 150 pages. I just could not put any of them down. It was like reading something as good as “The Cabin”, but more practical and relatable. Simply one of the best feel-good book(s) I have read in a long time. Can’t wait for Part 4! C’mon Will. 😊 I highly recommend you check out Will Holcomb’s “The Infinite Jeff” series…remember all 3 books!

Reading this book during the covid 19 pandemic has been remarkable. We are currently in a time of transformation and change. We can either become overwhelmed with it or we can recognize that this is "all part of the experience." Much like Jeff, we do not know exactly what our role is or what exactly we need to do, but if we will take this opportunity to slow down and pay attention to the things that really matter (family, home, our Spiritual connections) we will not only get through this, but we will grow from it. It's a wonderful book and I cant' wait for part 4.

This book got me so emotional. I love how they revisit the characters from part 1 and the drastic and beautiful changes that they have made on themselves and in their relationships. Stanley is so strong for being willing to accept and let go and let God. To have faith in the universe and discover what it will be like to be his authentic self. I wonder what it will mean for him... because I can imagine that vertical growth has a giant price to pay.

I want more! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and eagerly await the next one. Stanley is one fortunate guy to have been chosen, for what he is unsure of. I'm sure we will find out in the next installment. He needs to continue working on his vertical growth! Loved finding out what happened with people he and Jeff met on the way in the first few books!

This Author is amazing. We purchased all 3 books & are patiently awaiting the conclusion to this Series. There are two people here - one does not do anything online, so I am reviewing for both of us. We found them to be engaging, insightful, & quite frankly, hard to put down. We highly recommend these books and look forward to any writings by this author!

Enjoyed this part of the continuing story as much as I did the first two books. Very much looking forward to the 4th book and anxiously awaiting its publication. In the meantime, I may go back and reread the first 3 books. It's a beautiful story and I feel content and hopeful when I am reading them.

In part 3 of The Infinite Jeff, Jeff joins Stanley on his trip back home. They go back the same way the came and get to see what has grown from the seeds which were planted on the trip East. It is clear, The Change is happening. We are all part of The Change.
