M. Tasia is an mm romance author who lives in Ontario, Canada. Michelle is a dedicated people watcher, lover of romance novels, 80’s rock, and happily ever afters (once the MCs are put through their paces), who grew up with a love of reading. She’s a firm believer that everyone deserves to have love, excitement, and crazy hot romance in their lives. Love should be celebrated and shared.

To all my readers: Thank you. There’s no escaping the truth – without all of you, there wouldn’t be me, the author. Your support and kind words have taken me from being a new author who was unsure and panicked to an author with over twenty books under her belt. Okay, I’m still unsure and panicked, but I’m a work in progress. (Takes a sip of wine.)

I love sharing my stories with you and hearing how my characters have touched you and how you’ve cheered them on, cried with them, and even wanted to knock some sense into a few. Your encouragement has inspired me to continue on my writing journey. All the late nights, missed events, and looming deadlines have been worth it, knowing these stories have entertained and
stayed with you long after the book was finished.

In Brighton preparations for the holiday season and the great, wonderful wedding ceremony are in full swing. For many people those are the first such holidays, the first real reason to celebrate for many years. The townspeople have gone through a lot lately, and even more has happened in the lives of some great men whose courage, dedication, love, care and energy make Brighton a better place. Here comes the time of joy, laughter, happy tears and fun until dawn.

Our adventure in Brighton is coming to an end, as we have in our hands the last volume in the series that conquered our hearts. This is our last meeting with the wonderful boys of Brighton, who amused, touched, sometimes irritated us and made us feel part of their lives, just as they were part of ours. Reading this volume we have the opportunity to say goodbye to them, but not in a tearful way that will only deepen the void that we feel in our hearts every time we finish reading a good book or series. "The Holidays" is a positive, festive farewell with the wedding in the background. Or maybe this wedding is more important in this case and the holidays are just the background? Who knows. Just see for yourself, recharge your batteries with positive love energy straight from Brighton. You've come so far, you've reached the tenth volume. You can't leave this series now without saying goodbye.

Reading "The Holidays" we quickly notice that it differs from other novels in the series not only because of its theme but also in terms of the multiple points of view and the events shown in this installment. The tenth volume is a one whole, but at the same time it seems to consist of chapters which are like separated stories about individual characters, because each couple has their "fifteen minutes" in this novel. I have no doubt that this is an advantage of this part, because it gives us the opportunity to spend some time in the company of our favorite characters for the last time, regardless of who in "Boys of Brighton" is our favorite. This form of story-telling used in the last volume is even more interesting because it allows us to look at different characters at the same time, so we can see each of them preparing for the upcoming events that are extremely important to them.

I think I also should mention that in "The Holidays" the author introduced chapters in which the main characters are people who did not have "their own novellas", but played an important role in the lives of our Brighton boys. What's more, in "The Holidays" we can also see a completely new face, which we did not expect to see, and we have the opportunity to look at some events from this person's point of view. I won't reveal to you who this person is as I don't want to spoil your fun. However, in this case it seems to be important to mention that this new, unexpected character introduces some kind of a preview of a completely new story, which we want to know more about even though we are reading "The Holidays". If we take this into account, we can say that the last novella in "Boys of Brighton" is not only a farewell, but also a reception to the new series, our new passion. Well, as we can see something has to end, for something else to begin.

To sum up, "The Holidays" is our last meeting with the boys of Brighton. However, in this novella M. Tasia seems to say - "don't worry, be happy. Our boys are happy, so enjoy this happiness with them, and to fill the void you feel, I promise you a new series, which you'll love."

Oto nadchodzi czas radości, śmiechu, łez wzruszenia i zabawy do białego rana.

„The Holidays” to pozytywne, świąteczne pożegnanie ze ślubem w tle.

This series could not have ended more perfectly. Period. And while there is a spin-off, starring Johnny’s brother, Saint, for this series in Brighton, it couldn’t have been written better. All of these guys have been through some absolute horror in their lives. Between kidnappings, threats, gunshots, stabbings, hit and runs, crazy family members, crazy exes, conversion therapy, betrayals. It all has been one horror story after another. But the one important thing with this group, is with the White Haired Crew at the helm, Brighton has become a huge family that will bend over backwards to help anyone in need. And heaven help anyone who goes against these ladies. And because of that, all these men have found their lifemates and made families of their own. Most of them thinking they’d never have what they’ve found.
They’ve all learned some harsh lessons in their lives. As it draws close to Christmas time and the time for Johnny and Gabe’s wedding, all the couples are taking time to spend the holidays with their loved ones and reflect or reaffirm their love with those they’ve given their lives to and for. Some are making huge changes in their lives, some are taking things slow as they need to reacclimate to a different life. A life not full of hate and abuse. Or of psychos trying to destroy their lives. It’s a time for hope and new beginnings. A time for love and new starts. Forgiveness and reconnections. For revealing secrets and having complete honesty. It doesn’t mean things are always easy. In fact, it’s far from the truth. These guys lead some tough lives in the work they do. They see a lot of bad things and have had to do bad things for who they work for in the government. All to keep the world and those they love safe. But at the end of the day, they all have someone to come home to and love. Someone that supports them no matter what scars they have, inside or out. They have a family that most of them never had.
It’s such a beautiful story. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to see these guys grow and become the men they are. It’s amazing what a little love and care will do to change things. Even in the big bad soldiers. I’m going to miss these guys. I will have to come back and visit them. Often. It’s been a great series to read and if you guys haven’t read this series. You are truly missing out.

What a Way to End a Series...and Introduce a New One!
One thing I’ve stated in many of my reviews is that I absolutely LOVE book series that focus on families or groups of people who may as well be. Why? I am a sucker for becoming invested in their happily-ever-afters and then getting to “catch up” with beloved characters in later books to see what their lives have become since their book came to The End. That was certainly the appeal with M. Tasia’s Boys of Brighton series for me, and all I can say about the tenth and final installment entitled “The Holidays” is that it is an absolute gift to devoted fans. This book follows every last wonderful family member in the series: Gabe and Johnny; Dante, Spider, and Sam; Bear and Rick; Royce and Jesse; Coop and Matthew; Bo and Travis; Ben and Grady; Vincent and Tristan; and Shadow and Randy - not to mention the White Hair Crew, Shannon from the Sentinels, and the introduction of Johnny’s older brother, Saint (who is “headlining” Tasia’s new Gates of Heaven series). It seems fitting that the book would be an update of each couple (or triad in one case) leading up to the opening of the community center Safe HAVEN and the Christmas Eve wedding of Gabe and Johnny. This whole, gigantic, crazy, loving cast is set to celebrate the love and sense of family that has been infused into the series from Page One of “Gabe,” and it has been a treasure to read. I am not ashamed to say that I was a bit weepy and nostalgic reading this one because it is such a lovely tribute and wrap-up to a wonderfully written series. Love is love. Period. Thank you, M. Tasia!

This is the final book in the Boys of Brighton series. Each chapter reflects on each of the couples and how they are holding up after everything they have been through over the last year. Wonderful way to end the series and start the next with Johnny’s brother Saint.

One of the best series I have read by far. M Tasia has a way of drawing you into her stories and making you feel like you are part of it. Each story was based on different couples who found each other in a small town in Texas called Brighton. Each couple had their own fears to face, challenges to overcome and demons to fight. While each book is a standalone, I highly recommend reading each book in order so you know who each of the characters are as they show up in all the stories. If only there could be real towns like Brighton in the real world, then things would be so much easier and happier. Great series and I am looking forward to reading more from M Tasia. This was a wonderful way to tie the proverbial bow on the story of the Boys of Brighton and introduce us to the men of The Gates. This book gave the reader an opportunity to catch up with all of the wonderful characters. The town is preparing for Johnny and Gabe’s wedding on Christmas Eve and the men are all settling into their lives with their partners. With the exception of the chapters involving Johnny’s brother Saint, the book reads more like a lovely collection of epilogues rather than a cohesive novel. Also, there were a few editing issues, but it did not take anything away from my enjoyment of the story.

There is a lot of wrapping up going on in this "holiday" novel. I'm not going into it because if you've read all of the books, you're going to want to read this one without spoilers. Let me give you some clues though... there might be an engagement, some beautiful tattoos, special Chrismas celebrations and memories and a kid or two.

There's also a new character introduced in this novel. Saint... Johnny's brother who hasn't spoken to him in years shows up in town injured and with a story of his own. Johnny has missed his brother so he takes the opportunity to give his brother a chance to explain what might have happened to make him cute his little brother out of his life.

This was a fantastic ending to the Boys of Brighton Series. It gave an insight into every ones' lives as they came together for the holidays. The happiness at finding their happily ever after and to be living it. Each chapter gave a window into how each couple was doing and also opened our eyes to the the series that spins off of this series by introducing us to Saint. I honestly can't wait to dive into that series. I loved this work and being able to see all the familiar faces again was a nice treat at the end of the series.

Five out of five stars.

Weddings and holidays always have a way of bringing people together. For Johnny and Gabe, it was the perfect bookend to share their growing love and forever after.

We get to experience what happens with all the couples who've consumed a part of our lives for the duration of his series. Their roads to romance weren't easy, but so worth the end results.

They've all come so far and it was truly a joy reading about them.

BEST way to end a series, EVER! Great wrapup to the series. We get to see how everyone is doing at the point of Gabe and Johnny's wedding. We can see the change and growth that results in happy couples. The emotional battles everyone fought, helped create a cloak of gratitude and appreciation. We also got our questions answered. Ms Tasia, always does an excellent job setting up a community and all the participants. She excels in creating the synergy needed for a good story. Excellent story, well done! Wonderful wrap up to s great series

This book was a long epilogue to visit all the couples coming together for the wedding of Johnny and Gabe. We get to catch up on what each man is doing and how much in love they all are. I did things backward by reading the Fire Lake series followed by The Gates and then the Boys of Brighton. All the series were well written, greatly entertaining and each book had a HEA. They all will be reread and enjoyed again by me. I am selfish and hope Ms. Tasia will write more m/m romance series.

The Holidays is the tenth book in the Boys of Brighton series by M. Tasia. This is a contemporary m/m romance that gives a update on all the characters we have met in this series and Fallen in love with. Sweetness, sexiness, mystery, and humor... this is such a fun treat for readers who enjoyed the Boys of Brighton series... and it gives a few surprises. I love that its told from multiple points of view.

The whole town of Brighton is preparing for Johnny and Gabe’s wedding. Christmas is in everyone’s home and heart.

The conclusion to the Boys of Brighton series. Everyone has their happy ever afters. This series has been up and down for me. The end was nice. Basically little snippets of all the guys as they settle into their relationships. There is a new series on the horizon featuring Johnny’s brother Saint.

Good update

This was a nice update for the Brighton boys. Although, to get all the updates I want would take 3 books, I still felt it was a bit stilted. For anyone whose read this series, this is a definite must read.

This is a great epilogue type of book that wraps up the stories from the rest of The Boys of Brighton books. Very sweet low angst and a treat for people like me who always want to know what happens next.
